Partners regularly work together to create awareness of the Mississippi River and accomplish their missions.

The Design Center holds core group and adjunct group meetings bringing together representatives from City departments and area organizations.

In 2003, the Riverfront Corporation joined volunteers from many organizations to help clean up the Mississippi River.

Partners

The Saint Paul Riverfront Corporation employs a range of strategies to ensure the continuity of commitment that will achieve Saint Paul’s redevelopment vision. Principal among them are its strong and active partnerships with a broad range of organizations. Individually, each brings commitment and resources as well as unique strengths and perspectives to the table. Collectively, the partnerships ensure an integrated process of city building because of a shared vision and set of values.

Through the Design Center, partnerships reinvent the way that the public and private sectors approach development.

Through the public outreach and communication function, partnerships ensure greater awareness and participation in activities and planning sessions.

Through the special projects and development, partnerships share annual goals, reports and updates on a regular basis.

In addition to its board structure that represents all sectors of the community, the Riverfront Corporation has entered into a formal agreement with the City of Saint Paul, Capital City Partnership and Saint Paul Port Authority pledging cooperation and support for the city’s vision. To help coordinate this work, and to ensure awareness and understanding of opportunities and issues, the Mayor convenes a meeting of these and other partners every month.

The following is a partial list of the organizations that the Riverfront Corporation works with on a variety of projects and initiatives.
